Bear Grant
Pastor
Bear was called to be the pastor of Clearwater First in June 2023. Bear and his wife, Amanda, have four children: Peyton, Cooper, Avery, and Harper. Bear is a former resident of Augusta, Georgia who, after being called into ministry at 30, pursued his Bachelors Degree in Religion from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a Masters of Divinity in Preaching from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in
Fort Worth, TX.

Bear enjoys going on adventures with his family, UGA football, cooking, and watching movies.
​
He has a desire to see people develop authentic relationships with Christ that would give them a heart to serve others by loving those people the way Christ loves us.
​
His life verse is Habakkuk 1:5: “Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.”

Alex Castellanos
Associate Pastor of Children & Youth
Alex was called to Clearwater First in May of 2025. Alex and his wife Olivia have 3 boys: Samuel, Gideon and Caleb. Alex has served in previous churches as a Preschool and Children's Pastor and as an Associate Pastor. Alex was born in Los Angeles and moved to Jacksonville, Florida just before Middle School. He met Olivia, an Orlando native, while getting his undergrad from Florida State University. (Go NOLES!) Alex has since earned a Masters in Bible from Trinity Baptist College and a Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Seminary.

Alex enjoys playing disc golf, coaching his boys in soccer, watching anime, playing video games, and listening to good music.
​
Alex's desire is to see young people discipled, kids and parents alike. There's nothing like seeing someone learn to make their faith their own.
​
His life Verse is Matthew 15:27 "And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
